The team at Secret DreamScape is pleased to announce we’ve open sourced all contract code. This successfully concludes one of Secret Network’s first community dApp funding proposals. By open sourcing and verifying the contracts in Secret DreamScape you no longer need to trust us that the game delivers exactly what we promised. The game is provably fair, free, and open source. Unlike with all other blockchains, we are able to protect sensitive user data and interactions which allows us to make the game 100% on-chain.

To start with, we are excited to announce the sale of nearly 1,000 Secret DreamScape NFT cards (953 at the time of this writing). A total bonded value of $330 million gave the thumbs up to fund the game. Secret Dreamscape is an online table game built entirely on blockchain that uses a combination of word building and betting in its core gameplay. Players can purchase unique NFT cards to build a deck to use in-game.

This week, the Secret Network community DAO put their voices together and gave a big thumbs up to bootstrap funding the upcoming indie trading card game Secret DreamScape.The yes votes represented a total $330M USD in bonded value from Secret Network members who are staked on the privacy-centric layer 1 network. Deliberation on the vote took a week, but it looked like the funding was a lock a few days before the deadline.

Secret Dreamscape is a multiplayer card game that will test your ability to out-wit and out-think your opponents with the victor taking unimaginable spoils. Here’s how it works: Imagine a mashup of Poker and Scrabble. Each player is dealt a hand of 5 letter cards. Players use a combination of cards from their hand and the community cards, which are dealt Texas Holdem style, to build the highest scoring word.
